What is osrs chaos altar?

OSRS Chaos Altar is a location in Old School RuneScape where players can sacrifice certain items to gain prayer experience. Located in the Wilderness, it is considered a dangerous place as players can attack and kill each other while sacrificing items at the altar.

To use the Chaos Altar, players must have completed the What Lies Below quest and have pure essence or dark essence blocks in their inventory. They can then use the essence on the altar to gain 2.5 times the normal prayer experience for each essence sacrificed.

However, using the Chaos Altar comes with a risk. The Wilderness is a PVP zone, and player killers often camp at the altar to attack unsuspecting players and steal their valuable items.
